1949 Harley Davidson Panhead

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I built this chopper to get my name out there,i own a small shop here in michiigan, where I do builds from frame up and repairs,i work out of a 2 car garage by myself, this was my frist custome build from frame up and wanted to show people what I can build, without a team and show what old school is all about.

What motivated you to start your project?

since I have been a kid I have always loved the choppers as I grew up I remember seeing them come down my street, and my first build I had to do was a panhead chopper..

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I did the rake on the frame so its a old school chopper,as also doing the seat pan with shocks on the back of it to throw it off a little, adding a magneto to the motor, with a 3 inch bdl belt drive and to add a foot clutch shift on the side of the trans..

What are you most proud of?

im most proud of the color of how it came out,, I got with my painter for the frame being metal flake green shading into silver,ya it  may be a bit loud but why not I told him,i like colors that’s loud and catches peoples attention..

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

first of they love how much detail I have on it..i made this bike on dtail.so when people are looking at it there is always something to throw them off a little.for being a old school choppe I feel its a one of kind here I did for being my first custom build.
