My intention at the beginning of the build was to raise the dead, this 6 hp. single cylinder 4speed anomaly was being used as a promotional prop for a biofuel company. It was damaged in a fire I bought from a like minded person who realized want it would take to get on the road.
I was motivated to take on this project because of the uniqueness of the bike as a whole. Royal Enfield motorcycles are somewhat rare in the US and I have never seen a Diesel motorcycle ever.
What I am most proud of is seeing this project completed. I did not do all the work necessary to complete it. I owe many individual venders in India for clutch parts switches fenders etc. My friend from work who welded the frame But the greatest help I received was from Price Part Motorcycle’s Henry Price.his help though e-mails and hands on work rebuilding the transmission suppling many of the unique parts helped me to put it all together.
Most people ask about the brand and then the year. But when I tell them it is a “DIESEL” they what to hear it run and draws a crowd.
