1974 Harley Davidson XLH 1000

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To build a reliable good running old Sportster.

What motivated you to start your project?

Always had a love for motorcycles and working on them so I always wanted to build my own customized bike. Not stock looking.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

The overall general style/theme of the bike. Blacked out/polished look. Single seat, old school bobber look. A lot of hand machined parts. Engine mounts, risers, oil lines. Hand made rear side mount plate holder and light. Laced a 21″ front wide Glide rim to a 74 HD narrow hub.

What are you most proud of?

How it turned out and the compliments I get on it. Knowing that I built it myself.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Nice clean old school bobber styling. Looks like a new bike! Sounds AWSOME!
