1975 Harley Davidson FL Bobber

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To build a custom old school bobber that was a dependable rider. And stand out in a crowd

What motivated you to start your project?

Wanted to build a custom on stock frame

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Using the FL headlight nacelle when everyone one said loose it. Always knew it would look killer with a 21, no front fender and finished to match gas tank and rear fender.
The wrinkle black on original rockers, cam case and primary saved a lot and looks good.

What are you most proud of?

Have built several bikes with all new parts but building this old bike to like new or better specs was definitely a challenge and something to be proud of. Have updated all i can and it will run with newer bikes and stay together. I also built this bike in honor of all the POW-MIA that never came home. The number on the oil tank 58,272 in total lives lost in Vietnam.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

A lot really like it. I have a friend into long bikes and doesn’t like bobbers but he likes this one.
I was shocked how well it was liked at the local dealership. Even the younger techs loved it and had a lot of questions. That’s a really good feeling.
