1976 Harley Davidson FXE

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

the original objective was so simply make the old shovelhead a good reliable rider but it was in need of a bit more tlc than had originally met the eye

What motivated you to start your project?

necessity, everything kept breaking or failing, it’s an old bike so rather than continue to patch job things it simply made more sense to do the entire thing over

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

honestly probably the paint job it’s Omaha orange with metal flake and pearl it’s quite interesting to look at in the sun

What are you most proud of?

the fact that a vintage harley is still on the road and rolling in the wind

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

people say lots of things, they ask lots of questions about things…they say they like it they like the paint and how clean it is. they ask what year it is because people notice the chain final drive and the kick start pedal
