1979 Harley Davidson FXS

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

to build a really nice old school style bobber.

What motivated you to start your project?

wanted a project to keep me busy. I rebuild and customize old Harleys for a hobby. Have been doing it for about 25 years.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

All controls are push button including kill switch. Also came up with a belt drive combination for the primary. I used the Baker 4 speed with the splined shaft instead of OEM style taper shaft. Created some problems with finding the right parts for it.

What are you most proud of?

the over all quality of the bike. When viewed in person it shows. I was asked by a sponsor of the Southern Throw Down show in Dallas to enter it in the show but did not.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

They say it is beautiful and looks show quality. Its the best one I have built
