1979 Honda CB650 four

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Create a cool but practical brat/club bike.

What motivated you to start your project?

Since I retired I have been resurrecting Forgotten motorcycles. This one sat in the mud in a backyard for nearly 25 years.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I wanted to do this as a true garage build – I used as much of the stock bike as I could – the rear fender (including the inner fender) are cut down from the original. The rear of the frame was cut as were the side covers. The tank is the stock tank. The original bike had a fairing so the bars, grips, levers, gauges, headlight, etc. are all aftermarket and pretty much bolt-on

What are you most proud of?

This bike was disassembled to the last nut and bolt and rebuilt. Starting it after 25 years of neglect was a very cool moment.
