1980 Harley Davisdon FXE Super Glide

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I set out to build almost exactly what you see, I have had this imagine in my head for a long time and that is what I built.

What motivated you to start your project?

I have been wanting to build this bike for about 3 year ever since I seen it sitting in a buddies garage. It sat idle for the 3 years till I bought it.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I did a complete wiring harness from scratch and hide all the ugly electrical components minus the battery, I still wanted the battery exposed. Plus I ran everything in cloth braided wire to give a more custom look.

What are you most proud of?

The entire bike, this was my first build and I think I rocked it and made it to what I had dreamed about for years.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Most people love it and the old skool look it has and are amazed at the fact it is my first build and that it only took me 9 weeks to build much less having a total of under 10k in it.

I saw this bike in person at a show and the detail and workmanship is flawless. Great attention to detail and I especially liked how he did the rear fender and the back of the frame. A must see in person….. These pictures don’t do it justice……….. Cubby
