1982 BMW R100rt

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To have a bike that looked like it was manufactured around the late 40’s with a modern twist.

What motivated you to start your project?

The way the engine look’s on these old airheads and how simple they can be.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Kept the build clean by hiding Motogadget electronics under the tank and routing all my switch gear wiring in the bars.  Four small push buttons (2 on each side) run all my functions.

What are you most proud of?

How clean the bike turned out and how much attention it grabs for a state that’s primarily Harley owned.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Number one would be:
“What year is that thing?”
Otherwise just a lot of gratefully received compliments and “Where is the battery?”
