1982 Suzuki GS 1100

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To build something that you don’t see very often. The motor is 37 years old but I was sure I could make it competitive with some of the newer street customs.

What motivated you to start your project?

I have admired the 16 valve Suzuki 1100 since they were introduced in 1980.
I wanted to build a drag bike style street machine using that engine.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

How many rigid frame Suzuki’s do you see on the road ?

What are you most proud of?

The fact it came out exactly the way I wanted. Long, low and nasty.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

I’ve heard it described as “Bad Ass”.
That makes me happy.

Hey Rick…how about sharing all the details…I know there is a lot of custom fabrication that went into it.

    Looking good.
