1983 Honda Sabre

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

I wanted to put a bad ass solo seat on a cafe.

What motivated you to start your project?

I didn’t have anything to ride.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Metal work. I attempted to hide as much of the welding as possible. The side fenders were pounded on an anvil from sheet metal.

What are you most proud of?

The seat, the fender, the side fenders… The fact I can jump on the bike and the seat feels solid, the fender doesn’t rub, all the bells and whistles work on both the factory Sabre display (gears, temp, lights etc.) and the Aftermarket all in one (RPM, Speed)

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

They don’t like the tank.
