1996 Harley Davidson Sportster

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

To build as much of it as I could. I have built bikes using after market frames and did pretty good but I wanted to say that I built this bike you know more built than bought.

What motivated you to start your project?

I just enjoy building . I like to take something left for junk and bring it back to life. Keeps me out of trouble to.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I think the single downtube frame ,  fuel tanks ,exhaust.

What are you most proud of?

The fact that I pulled this off in my garage with pretty basic stuff.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Man that’s nice , good job , wow , how bad does that seat hurt your ass.

This is one cool bike! Seen it in person. Photos don’t do it justice. Hand fabricated.

I saw 1 awful and 1 poor vote.
It would be nice to see those votes validated with a comment as to why you feel this way along with a photo of YOUR recent garage build!
We all got our style (this may not be yours) but to just leave nothing to support your opinion. All I can say is maybe you go pick a part off the wall, replace it , and consider yourself a builder.😆

I just want to say thanks for the comments and votes. There are some nice bikes on here. I built this bike in my garage using basic stuff( hand bender, drill press, belt sander, & such ) I hand made all of the mounts, frame, tanks & exhaust using this stuff. I also do all my own motor work & wiring. I don’t have a lot of money so I just try to be as clean & simple as I can. Thanks again Tim F
