2005 Harley Davidson XL1200C

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Just to build what my mind envisioned. It took on a personality as I went along.

What motivated you to start your project?

A dream since I was 13 when I saw Easy Rider in the Theatre

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

I placed my front turn signals on the bottom of my front down tubes on the frame. It gives me a split-second longer, as most cagers pause because of seeing them flash that low. More visibility and attention.

What are you most proud of?

I’ve done everything myself….I got the bike in 2015, stock, set for touring. I’ve replaced the starter with a 1.4 All balls, both front and rear brakes, new clutch, and fabbed rear lower shock mounts, cut down both fenders, fabbed my seat and pad.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Nothing but compliments..lol. Most don’t think it’s an ’05…they always think ’70’s…unless they are Harley owners and take a long, good look..lol.
