2013 Chopper

What was your intended objective when you started the build?

Always to do something different than what’s already been done. With so many great ideas already done, I broke the bike in segments which allowed me to concentrate on pinpointed ideas.

What motivated you to start your project?

History of building bikes to past the time, Well supported by my wife, Denise.

What was the most unique and creative thing you did to the bike?

Microphone intake and tail light, mostly the hand crafted parts, twisted rear and top mount fender struts, motor mount and coil cage, kick stand, head light mount, and front section of exhaust pipes were fab by me.

What are you most proud of?

The ability to take a vision, section by section, to a completed stage – running. Especially, not making it look piece meal or copied from a magazine.

What do other people say about your motorcycle?

Denise and I are flattered and humbled about the comments made by strangers and even Mondo Porras, very detailed, fabrication came out nice, can’t believe it was done in a backyard. We’ve also witnessed many beautiful bikes at shows and in magazines. Just happy to be in the same arena as them.
